I am a certified sex therapist with the American Association of Sex Therapists and Educators (AASECT). I am also a registered clinical counsellor (RCC) in good standing with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC). I use a variety of therapeutic approaches, including attachment work, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), The Developmental Model, Relational Life Therapy (RLT), feminist and anti-oppressive social justice approaches to mental health and therapy.
My approach to counselling is an inclusive, empowering, and embodied integration of therapeutic skills and insights to ignite adults to uncover your values, clarify and communicate your emotional needs, develop body-based awareness and practices to self-regulate, navigate moments of grief and acceptance, and take committed action to live according to your values and your purpose.
I am a Qualifying Counsellor who recently completed a Master’s in Counselling Psychology (MACP) at Yorkville University. I am currently fulfilling my requirements in preparation for accreditation as an Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) through the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC).
I provide counselling services to individuals under the supervision of BCACC member, Frances Kinloch, RCC. During my qualifying period I am offering reduced rates, which can be reimbursed for extended medical benefits under Frances Kinloch’s BCACC licence (#18619).
